As a teen I suffered from chronic migraines for many years, well into adulthood. By the age of 34, still suffering from crippling migraines, I suddenly sprang into menopause (constant hot flashes and extreme night sweats), or, so I thought. Then suddenly, the twitching in my right eye began. The eye twitching aggressively worsened and went from a few hours of twitching, to lasting all day long. My right eye twitched for a solid three months straight! I knew something had to be wrong!
I started taking over the counter natural supplements such as Evening Primrose and Black Cohosh, which brought on temporary relief for the hot flashes but, unfortunately this was only temporary. As for the migraines, I’ve tried every prescription drug on the market and nothing seemed to help. I was suffering big time!
I decided to take drastic measures into my own hands and did some research. I looked into vegan, vegetarian, and alkaline diets but, they all seemed to be missing something. I even tried an herbal detox, and after the supplements were gone all the symptoms came back more aggressively than ever! Through all my research I eventually discovered “alkaline veganism”.
Improved Health In Just Six Weeks
Week one of my alkaline vegan journey to health and wellness, I noticed minor changes. I still experienced migraines but the duration of the migraines were shorter. By week two the migraines were completely gone. Week three I started to get relief from the hot flashes to where they would only happen at night and not so sporadic throughout the day. I also noticed the twitching in my right eye had stopped. My energy levels had increased tremendously and I was feeling better than ever.
During this time I also suffered from anemia and was always cold. My feet and hands were like a block of ice no matter the time of year. As the weeks progressed all symptoms of anemia had subsided. I noticed clearer skin, boosted immunity, improved health and an overall feeling of being in a state of bliss. I felt and looked 10 years younger as the dark circles under my eyes from being anemic and the dry pale skin all faded. I felt better than ever, better than before.
I am not saying that by becoming alkaline vegan this will be your story. We all have different issues on the surface we deal with. However, the fact remains deep down, that our failing health is the result of one thing; acid.
Dr. Theodore A. Baroody in his book, “Alkalize or Die” says it this way; “Too much acidity in the body is like having too little oil in the car. It just grinds to a halt one lazy Sunday afternoon. There you are- stuck. The body does the same thing. It starts creaking to a stop along the byways of life and you find yourself in some kind of discomfort. I watch with great concern as people of all classes and lifestyles suffer from this excess.”
Although I do not claim that alkaline veganism is a cure all and is in no way a replacement for your physician. I am saying that alkalizing the body will be of great benefit to you or anyone else willing to give it a try. When you finally decide you want to live at your optimal best, you give alkaline veganism a try.
How alkaline veganism changed the lives of my friends and family in just six weeks?
After consuming alkaline vegan foods for six weeks I felt so great that I had to share with the world. I wanted to see if other people dealing with failed health, and weakened immune systems, would benefit from this lifestyle as well. My husband suffered from severe allergies, indigestion, skin problems & was about 20 pounds overweight. I decided to change his diet as well to see what relief if any, he would get from this new way of eating.
Each morning my husband would sneeze his way out of bed and into the restroom, waking me in the process. He would sneeze no less than thirty times, biting his tongue in the process. His entire face would become flushed from blowing and wiping his nose excessively. On the morning of week two consuming nothing but alkaline vegan foods, my husband sneezed his way to the restroom as usual. He felt something drop from the top of his head down to the back of his throat. Mucus! He stood in the restroom blowing his nose for ten minutes straight. He believes he expelled a 1/2 cup of mucus that morning. This was the last day he had suffered from seasonal allergies.
He dropped 12 pounds of weight in his first week! He looked lighter and also felt lighter with his improved gut health. He could now eat a meal and not be in pain immediately after. His skin started to clear up by week three and bumps on his head started to disappear. His cholesterol was significantly lowered and his blood pressure had stabilized. He experienced increased energy and improved mood. My husband was now a believer of the power of alkaline veganism.
When I saw the results my husband had gotten from eating this way, I recommended it to a few friends. Because my friends had never heard of alkaline veganism and didn’t know where to begin, I took them under my wing and put them on a (six week becoming alkaline vegan program). I started the women out with a meal plan and shopping list, then we decided the best day of the week for meal prep. The women would gather at my home where we meal prepped every sunday for six weeks. I also started the women on an alkaline herbal detox to further assist in improving their health. I recommended they drink a gallon of water per day while consuming the herbal supplements. All the women experienced weight loss, increased energy, pain relief & more. One of my closest friends who was a part of this group completely got off of insulin. Another friend who was going through menopause got relief for her hot flashes.

I was so pleased at the results from all my friends and felt honored that I could be the person to help. I later went to school and became a certified holistic health practitioner, certified herbalist, and certified life coach so I could help more people around the world discover their own bodies hidden healing potential.
